Finally, the Democrats at least have begun to talk about addressing the root causes of the problem forcing people to the southern border of the United States where it really is, and that is on the ground in these Central American countries of Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. It is there that this nation has run rough shod over these countries for whom we coined the term “Banana Republics” for the last 100 years.

Truthfully, we did impact the banana growing industry in these countries with our military intervention in support of the US companies that controlled that industry.  As a result of our intrusions, due to our own alleged vested national interests, we have impacted the socio-political-economic strata of this region.

We’ve done so pursuant to an assumed right under the Monroe Doctrine (named after the 5th President of the US James Monroe). Under that doctrine we’ve confronted the Russian ships plowing the Atlantic and bringing missiles to Cuba in 1962 citing our vested interest to be concerned about anything and anyone which destabilizes the peace and tranquility impacting the US, so why not now? Thus, the situation almost begs for our intrusion in accordance with that doctrine to maintain stability and tranquility within this North American region.   The U.S. is one of the members of the OAS, Organization of American States, along with Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, United States, Uruguay, and Venezuela.  Yet we have heard nothing from that organization regarding this ongoing problem in Central America.

I suspect Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador is really where the US should be quartering troops to help stabilize the violence leading to the chaos and economic decline in the region that is impacting the United States by forcing mothers and children to travel in hope to the southern US border. I also suspect that it serves the interests of players beyond the borders of this North American region.

The international players, i.e. Russia, China, Iran, and Syria could be contributing to the destabilization in this region leading to the chaos of humanity arriving on the US southern border. Due to the incoherent response and the international appearance of an erratic US President the time is ripe for a foreign prolonged assault to destabilize the US. The chaos on the borders of the US in North America serves their interest and objectives in other regions of the globe.
